Talascend is currently seeking a Lead Engineering Technician for a contract opportunity located in Clearwater, FL. We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team in performing diverse technical tasks related to testing Inertial and Guidance Electronics products. This role involves dynamic, thermal, and functional testing across a variety of environmental conditions, using specialized test equipment and working closely with both technicians and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate test equipment to perform Acceptance Test Procedures.
Handle and manipulate delicate inertial hardware and circuit card assemblies.
Maintain accurate test logs and follow detailed procedures without error.
Communicate daily shift pass-downs in both verbal and written formats.
Participate in lab maintenance, equipment upkeep, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
U.S. Citizenship (required due to government regulations).
2+ years of experience with General Purpose Test Equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, Power supply, Dewetron, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Root cause analysis and Six Sigma methodology.
Strong technical judgment and teamwork skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Decisive and effective problem-solving abilities.
