Full Time- Non-Exempt Duties and Responsibilities :

Reports to and assists the Shop Manager, or the Director of Operations Leads by example, shows leadership abilities Is driven to help company meet performance expectations and goals Assists and trains technicians Considered an expert in his or her field Requires no direct supervision, and is a “self-starter” Ensures and administers the accountability for the employee’s adherence to company policies and procedures Able to ensure the workflows through the shop in a timely manner using digital reports/dashboards Review technician quotes in Quantum for accuracy. Review and manage all necessary required shop materials May perform inspections, and works well with inspectors as needed As applicable to the designated shop: has demonstrated the ability to Test, Repair, Overhaul & troubleshoot aircraft components. Needs to be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Accomplish goals using positive experiences, judgement, and time management. Performs a variety of complicated tasks Understands the concept of and has knowledge of test equipment required. Coordinates and manages level 1 & level 2 shop test equipment maintenance. Coordinates and manages the calibration as needed for the precision equipment/tooling Reads, writes, understands, and communicates in English, and has knowledge of basic math. Other duties as assigned Requirements and Skills •Meet and exceed the requirements for Technician level III Required High School diploma or its equivalent Technical college, or Military training in their expertise. 6 + years of experience in the field or related area preferred Good organizational and time management skills Experienced and excels in multi-tasking, while working under pressure Good interpersonal/social skills and can maintain composure while being objective Able and comfortable to give/ receive instructions Has production flow knowledge and ability to adjust for complications/ bottle necks Good verbal/communication skill Capable of assessing team member productivity and making corrections as required Ability to motivate team members and maintain group morale Success Factors Knowledgeable, friendly, positive attitude and be a “Team Player”, always willing to learn new tasks, new skills and participate with peers. Share ideas to improve processes.
