Volt is immediately hiring for a Product/Test Technician III atWinston Salem, NC 27101. As a Product/Test Technician III, you will: Capacity to read and interpret industrial standards such as USCAR,SAE, IEC, etc. Monitor tests per specifications, troubleshoot testset-ups, Recognize and understand failure modes, document allpertinent data. Prepare samples for testing, measuring, wiring, and soldering. Havethe mechanical ability to assemble and modify complex testfixtures. (Mechanically Inclined) Have the electrical ability to understand and troubleshoot DCcircuits. Comfortable working with and around current levels up to1000 Amps. Perform initial, interim, and final measurements. (i.e. electrical,temperature, sealing integrity checks). Aptitude to build and grow a “TRUST” relationship with ourcustomers. Must be able to collaborate closely with team members but also beable to work independently. Maintain accurate and timely updates on test progression and testschedules. Meet committed completion dates. Maintain a clean and organize working environment. Must be able to multitask multiple test programs at one time. This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.
Schedule:
Monday -Friday 7 am -4 pm The Ideal Candidate will have: Experienced with, voltmeters, thermocouples, and standard handtools. Capability of creative, analytical, and structured thinking withthe ability to execute. Effective problem-solving skills. Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral & written). Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel). Good soldering skills and manual dexterity.
