Description:
JOB PURPOSE

Work with design/test engineers on building test fixtures, debugcircuitry, test setup, equipment maintenance and/or performtesting.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Set up Dynamometers for electric motor and/or inverter testing. Perform inspection and maintenance as necessary to determine causeof defective electronic assemblies with instruction. Rework products per company and industry standards. Build test harnesses, loads to support product test asrequired. Document and maintain records relating to work performed. Communicate with others in a professional and effective manner. Design and build engineering test fixtures. Perform other associated tasks as required from their supervisorand manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A.S. in Electronics, a two-year technical diploma, equivalentmilitary certification, or equivalent experience

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum one year of related experience in electronics,manufacturing, or a strong mechanical background is required; threeor more years of related experience is preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and wordprocessing Understanding of manufacturing processes and electroniccomponents Possess a thorough understanding of diagnostic equipment andmethods e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc. Hands-on experience troubleshooting to identify root cause Ability to read intermediate engineering documents, e.g.,schematics or diagrams Maintain necessary product records and documentation Ability to comprehend and use product/process componentdatasheets Ability to assemble and disassemble products Ability to maintain lab equipment Ability to perform mechanical work Ability to train an Electronics Technician I Ability to work with minimal supervision

PREFERRED SKILLS

Ability to solder Strong mechanical aptitude Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electroniccomponents Experience in one or more of the following areas: 3D Printing, Electronics, Electrician/Electrical Contracting, HighVoltage Electrical Safety, Electric motor repair, On-road/off-roadAutomotive Repair, Communication/Networking hardware,
