The Electro-Mechanical Test Specialist role invites you to a world where your skills in assembly testing are paramount. Experience a diverse range of testing on Printed Circuit Boards including Functional, Environmental, and Diagnostic tests. Follow methodical sequences as you breathe life into our Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTP).
Your core responsibilities include:
Executing tests constructed by experts; utilizing a foundational understanding of MTP. Engaging in a variety of moderate to intricate tests, mastering the art of Functional, Thermal, Shock, Vibration, and Environmental assessments. Proficiently setting up and managing test equipment according to specified procedures. Skillfully troubleshooting basic to moderately complex issues. Employing diverse test apparatus to guarantee superior quality of integrated products. Ensuring proper maintenance of pre-production test setups, adopting both proactive and reactive measures. Collaboratively aiding engineers in introducing innovative test tools and support mechanisms. Providing essential feedback to improve test processes and documentation. Upholding work-in-progress quality and maintaining cleanliness in your vicinity.
Qualifications Needed:
Completion of High School (or similar accreditation) At least 2 years of relevant work experience Proficiency in fundamental electrical concepts Competence in basic computing Understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols Skilled in handling test equipment and circuit assemblies 5+ years of experience as a
PCB and Sub-assemblies Test Technician Desirable Expertise:
Preferably an Associate degree Ability to interpret or deviate from standard protocols Minor adjustments and optimizations in work methodology Effective in conveying explanations or elucidations where needed Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously Exhibits enthusiasm, cooperation, and positive demeanor Operates under general guidance Adept with broad directions for day-to-day activities “This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
