Mechanical Test Technician Position:

Technician I support daily test lab activities, equipment qualification, and test method validation (TMV) under supervision. This role is essential for ensuring accurate design verification (DV), feasibility testing, and lab compliance with safety and documentation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform bench-level engineering tests for DV, stability, and test method development. Execute test requests and troubleshoot inconsistencies with moderate supervision. Support equipment qualification (IQ/OQ) and TMV development. Maintain documentation and lab records in compliance with GLP/GDP. Collaborate with TMD and Ver/Val teams on lab projects. Follow all safety protocols — buddy system required at all times. Be available to cover day shift in absence of night supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (BS)

• No experience required OR Associate’s degree (AAS)
• No experience required OR High School Diploma
• Minimum 4 years in a regulated/lab environment Experience operating Instron equipment and BlueHill 3 or BlueHill Universal software.

Knowledge of tensile and compression testing. Proficient in basic math and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
