Electrical Test Technician Position Available In Suffolk, New York

Global leader in motion and control technologies is hiring for a Test Technician for their Hauppauge manufacturing team. High SchoolResponsibilities Experience with component level testingKnowledge of oscilloscopes, muti-meters and voltmetersAbility to work and understand blueprints and schematics Assembles, tests, and/or solders to customer requirementPerforms complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Trouble shoots and resolves most set up problems independently.

Troubleshoots and reworks malfunctions disclosed by test data independently.

Performs diagnostic teardown and rebuilding of product, including evaluation of suitability of components, according to customer specifications.

Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications.
