Job Description
Randstad is hiring a skilled Test Technician for our client, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace and engineering industry located in Hauppauge, NY. This is a great opportunity for individuals with hands-on testing experience looking to work in a high-tech, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Test Technician in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. understanding of test equipment, instrumentation, and measurement techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test specifications. Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical testing a plus. attention to detail and excellent documentation skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
salary:
$60,000 – $70,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM – 4
PMeducation:
High SchoolResponsibilities Set up and perform mechanical, electrical, and/or environmental testing on aerospace components and systems. Follow detailed test procedures and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance. Document test results clearly and accurately using data collection software or manual logs. Troubleshoot and identify root causes of test failures or product malfunctions. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support product improvements and customer requirements. Ensure test equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
