Works on assignments that are complex innature where considerable judgment and initiative are required inresolving problems and making recommendations. Responsibilities areacross all Workcell diagnostic/troubleshooting from with ICT or FVTperspective.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include thefollowing. Other duties may be assigned. Analyze daily processyield reports that will include, but not limited to the following:operator errors, defective product, test equipment/test defects,RMA product defects, and spear corrective actions. Increaseproduction yields by understanding and reducing operator errors anddriving manufacturing and test engineering defects back to theappropriate department. Assist Test Engineer in developingpreventative maintenance program and assure compliance to reducedowntime and increase process yields throughout the process.

Analyze downtime sheets recording downtime of a station to setguidelines for preventative maintenance scheduling. Ensure allprocess bibles are maintained properly. Review all 5×5’s to ensurethat they were performed and adhered to. Perform walkthroughs,inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed. Conduct NPItest evaluations. Proactively prevent test escapes. Ensure producttesting completeness and reliability. Update and generatedocumentation as required. Assist Project Test Engineer with testprocess review. Evaluates test probes. Set-up equipment to performany required programming and verification test followingestablished procedures for the specified operations to beperformed. Ensure quality (work meets or exceeds Jabil WorkmanshipStandards) and improve efficiency through the use of the SPC systemwhen available. Operates automated electronic test equipment onmanufactured circuit board assemblies and subassemblies.

Responsible for maintaining a continuous flow of the manufacturingline and meeting production goals while performing the assignedtest duties. Correctly label and stamp boards, and fill out tags.

Advise supervisor of any recurring test failure so that promptcorrective action may be taken. Ensure assemblies are properlyhandled and marked. Ensure daily logs and move/production ticketsare accurately maintained. Follows simple, standardized and routinewritten directions for assigned test operations. Adhere to allsafety and health rules and regulations Comply and follow allprocedures within the company security policyMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSASdegree, Technical School Certification, or equivalent and 5 to 10years experience, or equivalent combination of work experience andeducation. Knowledge and understanding of all test engineeringdepartment’s procedures pertaining to the individual’s job.
