Senior Traffic Engineer/ Traffic ModelerH&H is offering anexciting opportunity for a Senior Traffic Engineer/ Traffic Modelerwith five+ years of professional experience to be part of ourtransportation team. This position will provide traffic engineeringcapabilities in support of our Southern District operations, withpotential for additional responsibilities in our growing southernregions including North Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas. Thesuccessful candidate will provide traffic signal design, trafficanalysis, signing and pavement marking design, and assist withdesign efforts for the Transportation group. A strong background inFlorida DOT and County design policies and procedures ispreferred.

Responsibilities Provide Traffic Signal, Signing and Striping Design and EORduties on Signalization and S&PM Plan Sets Perform intersection and roadway capacity analyses using HCS,Synchro, and SimTraffic software and prepares traffic impactstudies Oversee the creation of engineering documents, design reports,and variation/exception reports Provide support to local and regional offices within thecompany Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongstmulti-discipline engineering teams Perform internal quality control procedures Ability to market services to current and prospective clientsto assist in the creation of letters of response and technicalproposals/presentations is preferredRequirements Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-yearcollege Florida Professional Engineering License or ability toobtain Minimum five years of experience Knowledge of FDOT plan preparation criteria and designstandards Knowledge of other transportation disciplines and theirrelationship to traffic design Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills Ability to train and mentor entry-level staffWe offer aprofessional work environment, a competitive salary, benefitspackage and 401(k). #J-18808-Ljbffr
