Project Engineer Location:
Tampa, FL We are looking for a talented engineer who is looking for the opportunity to work on exciting projects in our Tampa office. In this role you will be a part of a growing team and contribute to transportation designs and mentoring of less seasoned staff members as we add to this team. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong technical background. Responsibilities Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for transportation projects
Geometric, maintenance of traffic, drainage, and signing/pavement marking design as necessary
Development and mentoring of junior staff
Interaction with clients on technical related issues
Development and Quality Control of construction plans, quantities, and specifications
Development of 3D roadway models
Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer
Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Florida
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a roadway engineer
Ability to work well and self-motivate in a collaborative team environment
Strong team player with effective internal & external communication skills
