Preparation and review of Traffic Impact Analyses (TIA). Representation at Public Hearings to support TIAs. Conducting traffic signalization, Signing and Pavement Marking,ITS and safety technology designs.; Investigate accident data and evaluate changes to improvetraffic safety and operations on existing roadways. Improvement of safety for bicycle and pedestrian facilities onroadways or stand alone trails. Preparing engineering reports to document the findings andrecommendations of traffic engineering; Conducting field reviews to identify safety and operationalissues; Developing improvements to enhance safety and trafficflow; Preparing conceptual improvement drawings; Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines, andremote staff to deliver work products on time, within budget. Manage staff including other traffic engineers on the aboveservices.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer License preferred or working towardcertification. Knowledge of FDOT’s policies/procedures related to trafficengineering and familiarity with associated reference manuals suchas MUTS Manual, Traffic Engineering Manual, Highway CapacityManual, MUTCD, and Highway Safety Manual, etc.; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Must possess a valid driver’s license.
