- Position Specific Description
- This role responsible as designated point of contact and project manager for Palm Beach County and Florida Department of Transportation district 4 in West Palm area.
Provide agency plan reviews with team of internal and external engineers and consultants, mitigate and avoid conflicts with existing FPL facilities, and coordinate all relocation and service-related agency requests via FPL work orders from design to construction. Certify DOT projects and ensure compliance with Agency rules & regulations along with application of FPL standards, policy, billing and tariff requirements to meet agency schedules.

Employees in this role evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects. This position conducts analysis on system performance and reliability strategy and provides recommendations.
- Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Works on all aspects of engineering design and permitting
- Acts as a single point of contact for mid-level complexity projects for the department
- Tracks and reports on performance
- Delivers company standards, policies, training, and support of organization
- Prepares communications and presentations, and conducts meetings
- Meets attendance and storm duty requirements
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (NON CDL)
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor’s – Engineering
Experience:
3+ years
- Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Master’s Degree
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
