The firm offers large-firm project exposure in a smaller, more personalized setting—plus a consolidated work schedule that includes half-day Fridays! Qualifications and responsibilities for this Roadway Engineer, PE position include:
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Florida with 0-10 years of post-registration experience
- Proficient in OpenRoads Designer; familiarity with FDOT, AASHTO, and MUTCD standards
- FDOT project experience preferred; knowledge of MicroStation, ICPR, PONDS, and Microsoft Office
- Perform conceptual and final roadway, highway, interchange, and urban design for public clients
- Develop geometry, profiles, cross sections, maintenance of traffic plans, and utility adjustments
- Lead tasks and coordinate with agencies, sub-consultants, and internal project team
- Supervise junior engineers and support staff; assist with technical reviews, specs, and estimates
Salary:
$100,000 – $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
