Traffic Engineering Project Manager 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28273 Job Purpose The Traffic Engineering Project Manager will work under the Traffic Operations Manager to provide reporting, management, and execution of traffic engineering department projects. S/he will be responsible for managing project budgets and deadlines and for providing Quality Control efforts. Additionally, the Project Manager will support business development efforts. clients/projects at public meetings Interface directly with client and supervise subcontractors for project implementation • Provide senior level traffic engineering and project management expertise Lead, manage, and hold accountable (LMA) project engineers Supervise, delegate, and provide regular feedback/reviews to direct reports Perform project administrative activities including proposal preparation, monthly billing, and billing projections Participate in marketing efforts • Maintain client satisfaction/confidentiality Qualifications for Project Manager I Possess bachelor’s degree in civil or transportation engineering from an accredited university o Master’s degree in civil or transportation engineering is a plus Possess Professional Engineering license (in, or ability to obtain in, NC and/or VA, SC) Have 5+ years of transportation engineering experience Have experience working with state and local public agencies Possess strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, and time management skills. Use strong written and oral communication skills Be comfortable with Synchro and other transportation engineering software packages standard in the industry and with Microsoft Office software.
