Salary:

$80,000 – $125,000 per year A bit about us: We are aleading company in the construction industry seeking a highlymotivated and experienced Senior Traffic Engineer. This is apermanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a varietyof innovative projects. The successful candidate will have a strongbackground in civil engineering, Department of Transportation (DOT)regulations, and traffic engineering. MUST HAVE

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred 7 or more years ofrelevant job experience related to roadway engineering (experiencewith VDOT preferred) Ability to effectively communicateorally/written at all levels of the organization Ability to workindependently and as part of a team Experience with design softwaretools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD RESPONSIBILITIES- Strong technical background to support the growth of our practiceSponsible for working with a team of engineers on the planning anddesign of transportation projects Projects include intersection andinterchange design, new roadway alignments, roadway widenings,roundabouts, interstates, and pedestrian and bicycle facilitiesResponsible for the design of horizontal and vertical alignments,development of roadway plans and profiles, roadside evaluationelements, maintenance of traffic design, preparation ofconstruction plans, specifications, cost estimates and thedevelopment of technical reports Interested in hearing more?
