We are currently seeking an entry-level civilengineer for roadway engineering in our Raleigh, NC office. TheRoadway Engineer will participate in the planning and design ontransportation related projects. The primary duties will be tosupport senior engineers in a variety of tasks in the field ofroadway design. Responsibilities will include performing roadwaydesign, field investigations, preparation of construction plans,specifications, cost estimates, and the development of technicalreports.
Requirements:
Applicants must possess the following:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABETaccredited program 0-4 years of relevant experience Ability toeffectively communicate orally/written at all levels of theorganization Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle multiple assignments Experience with designsoftware tools such as MicroStation preferred Knowledge ofMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Engineer-in-Training (EIT)certification preferred
