Traffic Group Leader 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 2610 Wycliff Rd Ste 410, Raleigh, NC 27607 Dewberry is seeking a Traffic Engineering Department Manager to join our North Carolina/Georgia Transportation Team in our Raleigh, NC office. Lead and build the North Carolina/Georgia traffic team. Pair with Technical Lead(s) to continue and grow Traffic Engineering service offerings. Collaborate with other Transportation Discipline Leaders and Project Managers. Serve as Project Manager on traffic-focused projects, which could include Traffic Control, Signing and Marking, ITS, Signals, and/or Traffic Operations/Analysis. Prepare marketing materials and serve as Traffic Engineering Lead for project pursuits. Build strong working relationships with transportation clients in North Carolina and Georgia. Manage task assignments and workloads in the Traffic Engineering group. Perform QC reviews of design plans and documents prepared by staff and other consultants. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer license is required. Ability to get NC and GA PE within three (3) months. 10+ years of experience in traffic and transportation engineering, preferably with state and municipal agencies. Experience with Traffic Analysis/Operations Studies and/or Traffic Design (contract plans preparation for all traffic control devices (signals, signing, pavement markings, among others) including communication.) Ability to develop scope of work documents and prepare man-hour estimates. Ability to provide quality control oversight for all aspects of traffic engineering tasks. Not Required Qualifications:
