Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Transportation Engineer in our Nashville, TN
office. This is an exciting opportunity for a Transportation Project Manager who is looking to hone their management skills while providing and making a direct impact to already established growing organization!

Job Activities:

Serves as project manager with autonomy for project related tasks and as a designated client contact. May have project management responsibilities on multiple projects.
Responsibility for project schedules and timely completion of projects.
Assists in the coordination of estimating, scoping and marketing strategies for proposed projects.
Assists in the preparation of engineering agreements for projects.
Provides street and highway design engineering analysis and computations
Prepares or modifies reports, specifications, plans, studies, permits and designs for various projects.
May delegate and/or supervise the work of other engineer’s activities.
Actively participates in business development efforts and attends client meetings and makes presentations in support of the client/project manager.
Specific Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil, Transportation, or Traffic Engineer program
10-15 years transportation or traffic engineering experience
TDOT or local TN project experience is required
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Ability to manage and collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, Clients, and Administrators
Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
Working experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, ORD, and Geopak preferred
