Engineering Reliability Specialist III MTA, Inc. has an immediate full time opening for the position of Engineering Reliability Specialist III to provide support to the Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineering and System Assessment Division located on Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL in order to meet
AR 702-6
mandates for Stockpile Reliability Program (SRP) for supported Missile systems. This includes testing and performance data reviews, reliability data analysis and trend line development, as well as performing statistical assessments and evaluations in support of SPR programs and RAM engineering design support.
Function/Responsibility:
Conducts hardware/software reliability analyses based upon system requirements in determining the optimal system design approach. Determines system reliability based upon system specifications and desired output versus available input and source of input. Provides an assessment as to overall system impacts in evaluating proposed system changes (e.g., Engineering Change Proposals). Evaluates proposed test strategy and test procedures. Specializes in planning and conducting various reliability testing procedures and services (e.g., mechanical testing, vibration testing, electrical testing, acoustic testing, lab testing); defines system test requirements and strategy; analyzes test achievements and failures and recommends solutions; attends pre- and post-testing meetings; participates directly in testing events and briefings; writes and produces reports; and provides training as needed. Attends hardware/software reviews to assess the progress in fulfilling system reliability requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree Minimum Experience:
