My client is a leading aerospace precision manufacturer, isseeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to jointheir dynamic team. The successful candidate will play acrucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in ourmanufacturing processes. With theirdiversified portfolio, they have become a leader in the industryand are looking to grow a strong team for 2024. Description The keyresponsibilities of the Quality Engineer are: Develop, implement,and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance withaerospace industry standards and regulations. Conduct regularaudits to ensure compliance with quality procedures anddocumentation. Identify areas for process improvement andcollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effectivesolutions. Analyze manufacturing processes to enhance efficiencyand reduce defects. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance,ensuring that all supplied materials and components meet qualityspecifications. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve qualityissues and implement corrective actions. Establish and enforcequality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
Conduct inspections and tests to verify product conformance tospecifications. Lead root cause analysis investigations fornon-conformances, customer complaints, and other quality-relatedissues. Profile The successful Quality Engineer will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in quality engineering within the aerospacemanufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of aerospace qualitystandards, such as AS9100. Familiarity with precision machiningprocesses and inspection techniques. Proficient in the use ofquality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, statisticalanalysis). Ability to validate inspections, interpret GD&Tblueprints, and perform shop math (including trigonometry).Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with acommitment to maintaining high-quality standards. ASQ certification(e.g., CQE) is a plus.
