Quality Engineer Position Available In Northwest Hills, Connecticut

Job Description:

Your Key Responsibilities Develop and implement technicalquality solutions to optimize production and assembly processes.

Conduct and oversee quality checks and inspections of designatedproducts or manufacturing processes. Make decisions regarding theblocking of suspect or defective parts or products, pending furtherreview. Coordinate with management to address customer complaintsand manage related costs. Manage and analyze customer warrantycases to determine root causes and corrective actions. Implementand verify the application and effectiveness of quality standardsand initiatives. Support the preparation and conduction of internaland external audits. Collaborate with local Quality Management andQuality Customer Service teams to initiate corrective actions.

Create customer deviations for parts outside of standard. Assistthe inspection department with quality equipment troubleshooting.

Your Qualifications BS-Engineering or equivalent Strong analyticalskills and the ability to create technical concepts for qualityoptimization Excellent problem-solving skills and attention todetail Experience in managing customer complaints and implementingcorrective actions Strong communication skills to effectivelycollaborate with cross-functional teams Applicants must beauthorized to work in the US without employment visa or othersponsorship This position must meet Export Control compliancerequirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawfulpermanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
