Quality Engineer Job Description The Quality Engineer will be responsible for promoting and managing the quality system within the organization. This role involves conducting internal quality audits, participating in management review meetings, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The position offers the opportunity to work with the world’s leading producer in HVAC systems and is seen as a stepping stone to leadership roles in quality management. Responsibilities Promote and manage the quality system. Conduct and coordinate internal quality audits and track audit actions for HC QMS. Participate in management review meetings. Report on processes such as QMS, final tests, and product audits. Ensure compliance with
CDQ/TT-VAN.
Manage documents and records. Support the HCFH master list and controlled documents. Participate in TTM projects as a team member. Provide QG support. Essential Skills Technical degree in science, preferably a bachelor’s in engineering or related field. Minimum of five years of experience in a production environment. Certified Quality Auditor (e.g., ASQ
CQA, RAB
Lead Assessor, BSI Quality Auditor). Knowledge of
ISO 9001.
Familiarity with quality tools like TTM, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, ECR. Proficiency in MS Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications Problem-solving skills. Experience with Document Control, FMEA, Control Plans, ASQ, ISO 9001, and SAP. Work Environment The role is primarily office-based, with 90% of time spent in your own office space and 10% on the production floor. You will work cross-functionally with production and new product development teams.
