Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead Return Material Authorization (RMA) process—analyze returns, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement to minimize warranty claims and enhance customer satisfaction. Champion development and deployment of a company-wide QMS. Collaborate cross-functionally to assess current processes, close procedural gaps, and define clear roles. Support training initiatives to embed quality standards. Represent the Quality team in ERP system implementation. Align ERP functionalities with quality requirements, reconcile discrepancies, and plan phased deployment. Oversee quality aspects of product launches—perform risk analysis (FMEA), ensure machine/process capability, source testing tools, and validate production readiness with first article inspections. Identify methods for verifying production quality and process capability. Implement data-driven tools such as FPY, SPC, and structured audits to drive performance. Lead MRB efforts—evaluate nonconforming materials, coordinate team decisions, track corrective actions, analyze trends, and liaise with suppliers and customers. Conduct comprehensive audits of products, processes, and systems internally and at supplier sites to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement. Manage incoming inspection processes, oversee quality documentation (FAI, PPAP, deviations), issue and track supplier corrective actions, and maintain performance metrics. Translate customer requirements into internal quality strategies. Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and adherence to client expectations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 5 years in engineering or technical roles; 3 years in Quality Engineering Strong mechanical aptitude; working knowledge of electrical components Experience in new product launches and ERP systems Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong verbal and written communication abilities Able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods Occasional travel required (under 10%)
