Are you our next Reliability Engineer?
The Reliability Engineer provides in depth reliability analysis on mechanical systems (rotating and stationary) to reduce the facility’s overall risk. This is accomplished by statistically analyzing failures, optimizing proactive maintenance to minimize risk and supporting functional groups with reliability expertise.
What will you do?
Support operations and maintenance to improve equipment reliability by:
Performing Defect Elimination:
failure analysis and leading corrective actions.
Creating Asset Strategies:
developing processes to prevent and predict equipment failures using operating, maintenance, and condition monitoring techniques.
Support the Condition Based Monitoring, Lubrication, and Mechanical Integrity groups with technical expertise, project management, and management of change.
Plan and schedule mechanical integrity inspections. Requires prioritization of assets, risk-based assessments, recommending remedial actions, and organizing third party inspections.
Work with Capital to incorporate appropriate reliability improvements into new equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training, safety improvements.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, major in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, preferred
Engineer I
0-2 years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
Engineer II
2+ years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
Engineer III
4+ years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
Engineer Sr
8+ years or more of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
Training in Reliability Engineering, condition-based monitoring techniques, root cause analysis, lubrication excellence, mechanical integrity, and Six Sigma are assets.
Proven communication skills both verbal and written, extremely organized, good interpersonal skills, cooperative, able to work with and lead cross-functional team.
Quantitative risk analysis is beneficial
Word, Excel, Outlook required. Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
is a big plus.
