Quality Engineer Functional Position Available In Orange, Florida

• CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer – Functional opening for our client in Orlando, FL.

• Location:

• Orlando, FL

• Duration:

• 8 months

• Duties:

• + Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.

+ Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. + Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies. + Participate in code reviews and ensure proper testing methodologies are followed. + Provide functional testing support and ensure product meets specifications and expectations. + Continuously improve test strategies and processes to enhance overall software quality.

• Skills:

• + Strong automation experience with a solid development background. + Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, .NET, or Python. + Ability to spot issues early in the development cycle and suggest improvements. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

• Experience:

• + Proven experience in a functional QA or quality engineering role. + Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks. + Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern CI/CD tools is a plus.

• Education:

• + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
