Basic Qualifications

  • Surveillance or auditing experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand technical requirements (e.g., specifications, engineering drawings, work orders, technical orders, technical publications, etc)
  • Ability to interface in a cross-functional environment (e.g., engineering, quality, production, supply chain, program office)
  • Self-starter with knowledge and understanding of quality processes and disciplines
  • Experience with DCMA customer integration or unication

Job Description
We are Lockheed Martin
This position will work in Quality Control in Marietta, GA, to support all aspects of the C-130J build cycle to include assembly, structural repairs on sub or major assemblies, and functional checks.

  • This position is responsible for ensuring QA policies, procedures, and practices are followed and executed correctly to any and regulatory standards
  • Initiates, reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier, or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques
  • Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met
  • Facilitate customer presentations for Mandatory Government Inspections (MGI) and/or Safety of Flight activities (SOF)
  • Conduct surveillance audits for liance to the C-130 Quality Management System
  • Responsible for developing and coordinating defect containment actions
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering on the root cause of defects and development of robust corrective actions.
  • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training related to quality control methods, techniques, and tools to the inspectors and/or quality control workforce
  • Review leted assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability, and leteness
  • Manages the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability
  • As required, the scope of work may span across shifts.
    A level 3 employee Typically has 5 – 10 years of professional experience.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 – $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
