We’re looking for an Sales and Customer Success AI Validation Specialist for our office in Alpharetta, GA. The position is full-time. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.
About the role
The Sales and Customer Success AI Validation Specialist will collaborate with our cutting-edge conversational AI agents to validate both the initial setup/configuration and ongoing CRM, order management, and fulfilment tracking workflows within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software platform. In this dynamic position, the specialist will be guided by the AI agent through best-practice configuration of customer accounts, sales-order templates, invoice settings, return authorization rules, and service ticket workflows—confirming that user inputs result in correctly built records in the system. Equally, the specialist will test the agent’s ability to answer spontaneous questions, offer contextual guidance based on industry standards, and handle exceptions gracefully. Hands-on exposure to the latest AI technologies will ensure our tools deliver an intuitive, accurate, and efficient path from setup through daily operations, while contributing directly to the evolution of a next-generation, AI-driven ERP experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Domain-Driven Configuration & Validation
Lead the AI agent through setup of customer accounts, contact hierarchies, pricing rules, and payment term templates.
Verify that, when provided with order details (items, quantities, delivery dates), the VFA dynamically builds and links sales orders, credit memos, and invoices without prior ERP knowledge.
Verify conversational prompts translate into correctly built ERP records and flag any misconfigurations.
Execute bothmon and edge-case scenarios (high-volume orders, split shipments, partial returns) to validate the AI agent’s guided flows and Q&A handling.
Strategic Operations Partnership
Act as the voice of sales and customer-success teams, translating real-world order-to-cash, returns, and service-ticket needs into actionable feedback for Aptean’s product team.
Help prioritize use cases—such as dynamic sales-order generation from conversational data, proactive escalation rules, and exception workflows (split shipments, warranty claims).
Collaborate in sprint reviews with Aptean’s product team to close the feedback loop and validate iterative enhancements.
Knowledge Transfer & Enablement
Create concise “how-to” guides and run demo sessions that showcase ideal AI agent interactions for non-technical first-time ERP users.
Coach trainers and early adopters on best practices, ensuring smooth transition from pilot to production deployment.
About You
In-Depth Customer Relationship and Order Management Expertise
Comprehensive knowledge of CRM best practices, customer-group segmentation, and pricing strategies
Familiarity with end-to-cash processes: order entry, invoicing, returns handling, credit-memo workflows, and service-ticket resolution
Awareness of best practices for incident logging, non-conformance tracking, and CAPA plan workflows
Analytical & Detail-Oriented Mindset
Exceptional attention to data accuracy—able to spot discrepancies in customer data, order lines, and invoice totals
Skilled at designing and executing edge-case test scenarios to stress-test conversational flows
Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills
Excellent written and verbalmunication: able to convey precise feedback on AI prompts, configuration prompts, system behaviors, and workflow gaps
Proven ability to work cross-functionally—liaising effectively between sales enablement, customer service, and Aptean’s product stakeholders
Adaptability & Continuous Learning Orientation
Thrives in rapidly evolving environments—quick to assimilate new system features and conversational enhancements
Willingness to develop and iterate training materials as the AI agent matures
