Quality Assurance Specialist

LaGrange, GA 30240 Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our automotive manufacturing team. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality meets both customer and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive quality systems, audits, and inspection processes. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to support

compliance and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities 1. Customer Quality Response Analyze and respond to quality claims from customers (defects, abnormalities, etc.) Identify root causes using quality tools such as 5Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D Manage and report quality issues through customer portals (e.g., GQIS, CQMS) 2. Preventive Quality Activities Conduct pre-production quality risk analysis (PFMEA, Control Plan, etc.) Establish quality assurance plans in accordance with customer requirements (PPAP, ISIR, etc.) Define and manage product quality standards and specifications for mass production 3. Customer Audit Support Prepare for and respond to customer quality audits Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and recurrence prevention measures Maintain documentation and records related to customer responses and audit history 4. Quality Improvement & Management
- Lead improvement activities for recurring claims or defects
- Continuously work to improve customer quality performance indicators (e.g., Q-Score, PPM)
- Participate in regular customer meetings and maintain quality-related communication
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficient in relevant engineering tools for design and analysis. Solid understanding of production processes, industry standards, and regulations relevant to automotive engineering. Familiarity with testing methodologies and quality assurance processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software tools for project management and reporting. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive project information. Attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Bilingual in Korean and English preferred – required for coordination with Korean-speaking teams

Work Schedule :
Ability to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
Travel :
Ability to travel domestically within the U.S. if required.
Safety Compliance :
May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for eyes, face, head, feet, hearing, hands, and arms in accordance with safety regulations. The employee generally works in indoor office and warehouse environments.
