Job Description Teledyne LeCroy Test Services (TLTS) provides the nuclear power industry with Motor Operated Valve (MOV) and Air Operated Valve (AOV) testing and diagnostic equipment, engineering services, and safety related sensors and software. Teledyne maintains a Quality Assurance Program that is structured on the requirements of the Title 10, Part 50, Appendix B of the Code of Federal Regulations (10CFR50) and ASME NQA-1-2008, Add. NQA-1a-2009 with 10CFR21 reporting responsibility. We are seeking an experienced valve engineer to join a team that focuses on mechanical design, nuclear power plant analysis and managing projects from concept to completion. This will be a key role within the Engineering Services team, providing support to utilities in implementation activities related to their power operated valve programs. Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker who shares our passion for developing engineering solutions for our customers. Qualifications and Responsibilities Bachelor’s of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in an engineering or related position; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years experience as a valve engineer in the nuclear power industry. Strong understanding and experience of AOV and MOV design, testing, and troubleshooting. Experience and working knowledge with AOV and MOV industry standard documents such as ASME Appendix III and IV, and EPRI methodologies. Provide support on engineering service projects including, but not limited to: design basis calculations, overthrust evaluations, diagnostic trace anomaly reviews, self-assessment support, Appendix

program gap analyses, and the design of custom programs / test reports. Preferable to have experience in check valve design and non-intrusive testing methods. Develop a deep understanding of products, customers, goals, organization, and business strategies, evaluating systems and processes, and identifying customer needs. Work with product development team to continually improve and develop valve test products based on customer feedback and industry experience. Communicate with customers on valve issues. Form positive/productive customer relationships based on data and continual improvement, act as a technical liaison between customers. Perform in-house and off-site training sessions for engineers and field technicians. Amount of travel required up to 25%. Individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to implement complex calculations and perform data processing/analysis using Microsoft Excel.
