The Senior Quality Engineer will develop and implement qualityassurance plans, conduct rigorous testing, and leadcross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, safety, andperformance of connected fitness products. Client Details ABoston-based fast growing company founded in 2017 offers aconnected machine that delivers immersive, workout experiencesthrough live and on-demand classes led by world-class athletes.

Description Collaborate with hardware, software, manufacturing, andsupport teams to identify potential issues early, implementimprovements, and ensure real-world feedback informs productdevelopment. Lead and execute qualification and reliability testingto ensure product readiness for manufacturing and launch.

Facilitate risk assessments and validation reviews to identify andmitigate potential quality and safety concerns. Develop andimplement quality controls and inspection plans in collaborationwith contract manufacturers and internal teams. Coordinateregulatory and product safety efforts, working with legal counseland external certification bodies. Monitor quality metrics duringearly production stages, analyze data, and recommend design orprocess improvements to enhance reliability. Oversee the qualityand performance of in-market products, ensuring customersatisfaction and long-term reliability. Improve and developinternal quality processes to enhance product reliability,streamline defect resolution, and ensure consistent qualitystandards across all products. Maintain clear and timelycommunication with stakeholders, providing visibility into qualitymetrics and escalating critical issues when necessary. Track andanalyze field performance data, including the evaluation ofreturned products, to identify trends, resolve issues, andimplement corrective actions. Collaborate with customer support,hardware engineering, and field service teams to address andprevent recurring quality concerns. Drive continuous improvementinitiatives by developing and refining internal quality processes,ensuring lessons learned are integrated into future product designsand manufacturing workflows. Profile experience qualityengineering, specializing in new product introduction andsustaining quality disciplines. Solid technical background inelectromechanical systems and manufacturing quality principles.

Proficient in risk assessment methodologies (e.g., FMEA),validation processes, and product safety strategies. Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approachto decision-making. Excellent communication and collaborationskills to effectively work across multiple disciplines. Experienceworking with manufacturing partners in Asia and ability to takeevening and morning calls as needed. Self-starter with a proactiveattitude, capable of balancing independent work and teamcoordination. Experience with PLM systems and regulatorycertifications.
