Quality Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to supervise the Quality Assurance Technicians and provide technical support across the organization. The role involves resolving customer concerns, mentoring Quality Technicians, and implementing quality assurance and improvement processes. The successful candidate will continuously enhance their skills and offer guidance to less experienced personnel, ensuring adherence to both national and international standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Supervise Quality Assurance Technicians as directed by the Quality Manager. Assist in processing and resolving customer concerns. Provide technical support and mentorship to Quality Technicians. Understand and apply quality assurance and improvement processes. Facilitate root cause analysis for product defects and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with purchasing and sourcing staff to meet quality standards and legislation. Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and coworkers. Support the ISO9001 Quality System. Maintain a safe work area and follow safety guidelines. Ensure Calibration of tooling is up to date with proper record storage. Conduct audits and prepare documentation for regulatory compliance. Maintain controls of documentation procedures. Use Inventory Management System for required transactions. Analyze performance data reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Supervisory experience. Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Fundamentals. Statistical analysis & SPC Software experience.
