Quality Engineer Icons America Dallas, NC 28034 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through effective quality assurance and control processes. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, ISO 9001 standards, and the ability to conduct thorough quality audits and inspections. The Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our quality systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
standards. Conduct regular quality audits to assess adherence to established processes and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with project management teams to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the project lifecycle. Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Analyze data from quality control processes to identify trends and recommend corrective actions as necessary. Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality control procedures and best practices. Work closely with fabrication teams to ensure that manufacturing processes align with quality standards. Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and present findings to management for review. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in QA/QC, including familiarity with quality inspection techniques and methodologies. Strong knowledge of
ISO 9001
standards and experience in implementing quality management systems. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for identifying issues and implementing solutions. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and collaborating with team members. Proficiency in using quality control tools and software is a plus.
