Position Overview
The Quality Engineer II is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of HAECO’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure compliancewith regulatory and customers’ requirements. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, implement solutions, and maintain service integrity.
Essential Duties
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure that services provided meet all required specifications and standards.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for identified quality issues.
Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality audits.
Provide regular quality reports, including failure analysis and improvement recommendations for management review.
Initiate and support development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives using data analytics to reduce process variation and prevent defects and/or non-compliance.
Monitor and report on key quality metrics, ensuring timely resolution of any quality-related concerns.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding quality standards.
Communicate quality concerns and progress updates to the Sr Quality Engineer.
Support integrated product/process teams.
Remain compliant with regulatory and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
What you need: (Requirements)
Minimum
Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (ie. Mechanical or industrial engineering).
2-4 years of relevant experience in a production/service environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root cause of issues and recommend solutions.
Basic knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent project management skills
Preferred
Familiarity with statistical analysis

ASQ Certifications:

Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, and/or Quality Auditor
