Successful candidate will have experience with feasibility studies, equipment reliability issues, system modifications and upgrades to improve safety and reliability. Individuals will demonstrate expert knowledge of computer languages, data structures, and software design methods and techniques. A successful candidate will demonstrate the use of independent judgment in performing calculations and/or designs and be able to present and justify analyses to regulatory, quality and safety reviews. Individuals will possess superior technical knowledge of nuclear and mechanical disciplines and software engineering. Successful candidates will have the ability to work on cross-discipline teams with other engineers to evaluate conditions and develop analyses to evaluate plant performance, safety, and reliability. Individual must have ability to interface and work with software vendors, as needed.

Must be familiar with codes and standards applicable to the nuclear, sustainability or process industries as well as possess working knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations (including the PHMSA, NRC, DOE, etc.). Good client interface/communication skills and understanding of the roles of other disciplines, as well as ability to coordinate and interface with other disciplines, are a must.,
