Job Description The Quality Engineer will support driving a quality culture throughout the organization with a goal of zero escapes. The candidate should be capable of identifying process specific problems, working with production, manufacturing, and engineering departments on developing, testing and implementing process solutions. - on, solution focused, and have good communication skills as they will be interfacing with all departments and levels of employees.
Guide to inspectors supporting and instilling the quality culture (upholding the quality culture-acceptable/rejectable mentality). Assigned investigations related to customer escape risks. Quality Clinic (but not limited to): Consult for final inspectors Questions/training Guide to inspectors supporting and instilling the quality culture (acceptable/rejectable mentality) Support investigations
- Root Cause and Corrective Actions & reporting company wide (nonspecial process investigations
- unless a direct customer escape issue) Containment Quality systems investigation Support with rework job plans
- creating and reviewing Reporting key quality measurements company wide on a weekly basis Risk Mitigation FAI development and review IMST for final inspection Customer Returns Audits (but not limited to): Conduct internal audits as necessary Prepare and/or participate in conducting external audits (NADCAP, ISO, Customer) Qualification Bench audits Training (lessons learned) Customer Support Customer requests regarding Engineering & Quality Customer Escapes & Returns•RCCA Qualifications Engineering degree preferred.
1-3 years of manufacturing experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to communicate effectively with team members
