Quality Lead :
Responsible for the quality pillar (voice of the customer, quality assurance, & quality control) at the plant management team level. Implementation and completion of quality daily management activities (quality rounds, audits, etc.) in collaboration with the quality team at the group level. Ownership of the site complaint management system. Develop relationships with customers and act as the site’s point of contact for customer inquiries regarding product quality and trials. Utilize SAP effectively to trace trial product, reclassify non-conforming material, and more. Support activities to improve quality practices at offsite warehouses that store our final product. Facilitation of root cause analyses for customer complaints and quality incidents. Management of site lab equipment including regular calibrations, corrective repairs, and replacement. Serve as the site lead for various certificate (FSC, SFI, RPTA, etc.) activities including monitoring, auditing, training, and sampling. Lead customers interaction in collaboration with internal stakeholders for the execution of customer qualifications, product qualifications and evaluation of plant improvement opportunities from the complaint management system. Establishes and analyzes site quality objectives regarding product issues, defective materials, customer and supplier complaints. Participate in the implementation of quality improvement projects in collaboration with operations and logistics teams. Responsible for training and awareness of staff on quality (principles, procedures, quality culture) Collaborate with the Cascades Packaging Quality Network Pillar to improve group synergy and global success. Up to 3 days travel per month for customer visits and quality group gatherings Bring out the best in yourself! You too, put forward your strengths: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, course or certification in quality management, or a combination of the above. 3+ years of experience with quality standards, auditing process and knowledge of industry regulations Ability to travel on a regular basis (up to 3 days/month) to our other facilities and customers site (Canada-USA)
Lean Manufacturing:
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, with certification (Black Belt or Green Belt) as a potential asset. We look forward to meeting you!
