Quality Engineer Position Available In Allegheny, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

System One is looking for Quality Engineers to support orclient’s Quality Team in the design and manufacture of highlyengineered products. You will play an important role by helping toimplement the quality assurance program to support design, andmanufacture ensuring product standards. This is a long-termcontract in Pittsburgh, PA for local candidates. Potential for tempto perm.

Responsibilities:

Develop quality assurance data packages.

Drive continuous improvement within the quality management system.

Perform internal, process and external audits, surveillances. Leadin translation of customer or regulatory requirements intomanufacturing instructions. Provide technical support to inspectorsand operators. Present analysis of production data and trends. Leadroot cause analysis efforts and drive implementation of correctiveactions. Identify and resolve potential project or supplier qualityissues. Review, evaluate, and respond to customer and/or suppliercorrespondence. Strong communication skills within a team settingto ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

BS Engineeringor related technical degree 10 years’ experience preferred Must beable to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance. Candidates mustbe legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visasponsorship now or in the future. Strong critical thinking andproblem-solving ability 4 plus years of experience in amanufacturing setting Auditing experience is an asset Six SigmaYellow Belt / Green Belt / Black Belt certifications is desiredAbility to read and understanding Geometric Dimensioning andTolerances (ASME Y14.5) is a plus
