The Quality Specialist for OF Dev & EPC projects, has theresponsibility for ensuring OF processes are embedded andunderstood in projects, packages, and support functions throughoutØrsted Dev and EPC. This will be accomplished through teaching,coaching, and facilitating implementation of Quality tools andsystems. The Quality Specialist is responsible for influencingothers to effectively utilize Quality tools and systems andpropagating a continuous improvement culture, thereby acceleratingprogress toward optimal application of Orsted Quality systems.
Propagate a culture of Quality excellence (systems, processes,behaviours, and accountability) through Engineering, ProjectServices and EPC Projects. Act as a subject matter expert onQuality matters. Teach and coach project personnel so they haveskills and awareness to appropriately implement Quality tools andprocesses within the project/package. Identify best practices fromprojects and packages. Bring those learnings to EPC Quality Forumas well as propagating agreed upon best practices across projects,packages, and support functions. Integrate with the Project QualityManagement team and provide support to reduce project quality risksto as low as reasonably practicable. Encourage a culture ofcontinual quality improvement. Assist with front-end and back-endcontrol of Synergi cases as needed. Act as facilitators forimplementation of quality initiatives and complete other tasks asassigned by Head of Quality – OF Dev & EPC. Coordinate with ProjectQuality Managers to act seamlessly as Quality initiatives areimplemented within each project/package.
Qualifications:
5 years ofQuality related experience A degree in a relevant field such asQuality, Engineering, or a related discipline is desirable.
Industry recognised Quality qualifications including certificationsor accreditation from organizations such as
ASQ, EOQ, IAQ
etc.(e.g. Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt, Certified Managerof Quality / Organizational Excellence, Certified Quality Engineer,Certified Quality Auditor) are a plus. Experience working ininternational and cross-cultural team Have strong management skillsand experience in implementing corporate Quality systems. Strongleadership skills with the ability to provide guidance andmentorship. Experience in driving continuous improvement. Effectivestakeholder management skills working with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in
English Language Requirements:

Hybrid/flexible working arrangements Up to 1 week per month oftravel including international travel. Local to Providence, RI orWashington D.C.
