Job Description The Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing the quality aspects of production projects throughout the development, build, and test stages. This role involves data analysis, problem-solving, and maintaining accurate project records. The Quality Engineer actively defines machine test requirements and justifies acceptance limits to ensure compliance with standards. Responsibilities Manage Work In Progress (WIP) and Operation Acceptance Test (OAT) inspection data, preparing statistical and operational performance reports. Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team to perform process capability studies to enhance control and reduce total quality costs. Oversee WIP materials traceability and assist with Pre-Check and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Vehicle Reporting. Coordinate with Engineering to ensure ‘redline’ drawings are accurately captured and processed according to the engineering change procedure. Update and coordinate maintenance of work instructions for all business departments, aligning with

ISO 9001

Quality Management System procedures. Review and comment on drawings, calculations, specifications, and other design inputs/outputs as required. Provide direction and monitor performance in the development and application of inspection plans including First Article Inspection, In-Process and Final Product Inspection, Sampling Plans, and Design Validation Testing. Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with Standards and the internal Quality System, including investigation and reporting. Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify, prioritize, communicate, and resolve quality constraints/issues/part problems. Share findings during Gemba Team walks and project reviews, providing ‘lessons learned’ report outs and managing cooperative enlistment of support. Provide trending analysis on quality corrective actions, performance metrics, and key supplier failure data. Take ownership of supplier part inspection and failure analysis to drive quality requirements back to the source.
