Our experienced team of engineers and designers utilizes Solidworks and Creo for modeling and design tasks. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Technician/Engineer based in Chattanooga, TN. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily quality control processes, ensuring adherence to machining process and product specifications, as well as tool build requirements. Additional tasks include performing routine inspections, maintaining quality records, and collaborating with the design and manufacturing team to uphold standards of product and process quality including: Managing and coordinating all activities of the

ISO 9001

2015 Quality Management System. Specific responsibility for elements of the QMS including customer complaints and corrective, preventative and continual improvement plans and actions, internal audit process, document control, maintenance of the key business indicators and other reports to management. Develop, implement and manager first article, in-process and final audit inspection processes. Certification and calibration of gages. This will include using a CMM and traditional measuring devices to perform calibration, inspections and first article sample reports. Provide input to engineering and design teams with customer input on concepts and designs for checking fixtures and gages. Interface with the customer to insure customer design requirements are met. Management of the training and orientation of team members on quality, safety and performance processes and goals. Other duties as required
