Trust Position Summary:
As a MechanicalMaintenance Engineer at our paper mill facility, you will beresponsible for ensuring the effective maintenance, repair, andoptimization of mechanical equipment critical to the paperproduction process. You will utilize your expertise in mechanicalengineering and maintenance principles to maximize equipmentreliability, minimize downtime, and support the overall operationalefficiency of the mill.
Principle Accountabilities:
Plan, schedule,and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities to ensure theuninterrupted operation of papermaking equipment, including but notlimited to pumps, conveyors, boilers, turbines, and associatedsystems.
Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolvecomplex mechanical issues, utilizing root cause analysis techniquesto identify underlying problems and implement effectivesolutions.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programstailored to specific equipment and processes, incorporatingreliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles to optimizemaintenance strategies and extend equipment lifespan.
Oversee theexecution of maintenance tasks, including routine inspections,lubrication, alignment, and component replacement, ensuringcompliance with safety protocols, manufacturer guidelines, andengineering standards.
Utilize computerized maintenance managementsystems (CMMS) to manage work orders, track equipment history, andanalyze maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities forimprovement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingoperations, reliability engineering, and procurement, to supportequipment upgrades, modifications, and reliability improvementinitiatives.
Participate in the selection, installation,commissioning, and acceptance testing of new equipment andupgrades, providing input on design considerations,maintainability, and reliability.
Stay abreast of industry trends,emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical maintenanceapplying knowledge to drive continuous improvementinitiatives.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities,equipment specifications, manuals, and spare parts inventory,ensuring accuracy and accessibility for maintenance planning anddecision-making.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in MechanicalEngineering or related field.
Minimum of 0-3 years of experience inmechanical maintenance within an industrial manufacturingenvironment.
Good understanding of mechanical systems, equipment,and components commonly used in papermaking processes.
Leadershipabilities with the ability to effectively manage and prioritizemultiple tasks and projects.
Problem-solving skills and a systematicapproach to troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelyacross departments and organizational levels.
Knowledge of safetyregulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.
