Job Description

Job Summary We are hiring an Electrical Reliability engineer to join our team at Memphis plant site. The person will work with site resources to identify and resolve electric transmission and distribution design, operation, and maintenance reliability issues of the overall electric system. Work will consist of analysis of historical work completed, analysis of maintenance practices and techniques, application of preventive and predictive maintenance technologies, and defect elimination. Also, will have a high level of knowledge in at least one area or equipment type. Work is performed under general supervision.

Main responsibilities:

Identification, Design, and Implementation of facility and equipment upgrades. Assist in the identification and resolution of recurring reliability issues. Coordination of Predictive Maintenance activities. Assist in the planning and coordination of plant shutdown maintenance repairs including direct supervision of contract maintenance crews. Assist in the identification and tracking of plant critical spare parts. Assist in revision and development of written mechanical or electrical maintenance procedures. Assist in the analysis and improvement of site precision maintenance techniques. Lead and participate on reliability improvement teams. Perform job duties in a manner that follow food safety and quality guidelines including but not limited to HACCP, GMPs, QA Policies, Sanitation, and Pest Control. Be part of a team that provides support, as needed, across the site for 24/7 operation. Job Requirements B.S. Degree in a technical field. Preferred Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 9 or more years of experience in maintenance and reliability with electric transmission and distribution design, operation, and maintenance Preferably have experience in a high hazard, food, and/or personal care manufacturing.

Knowledge of:

Theories, principles, methods and procedures of applicable field of engineering. Statistics and experimental design. MS Office package including Visio.

Ability to:

Manage projects. Collect, process and analyze data. Develop creative solutions to problems. Communicate effectively both in writing and orally. Execute root cause methodology. Work effectively both independently and within teams. Work toward a future

Shelby County Master Electrician License Preferred:

SAP PM experience. PdM certifications in Ultrasound, Vibration, Infrared, RDI, MCA, and MLT/MLA. CMRP, CRL, or RMIC certification. Capital project management.
