What You Will Do:
- Ensures manufacturing processes and product builds are followed and comply with Quality and Engineering requirements
- Drives problem solving projects and actively challenges the status quo (e.g., root cause and corrective action investigations, (FPY, customer escapes
- Provides analysis and recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes
- Leads and drives alignment with fellow quality and manufacturing engineers, sustaining engineers, engineering management, operations, and shop floor personnel
- Participates/implements continuous improvement for established processes for further improvement of quality, efficiency, and cost
- Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts
- Responsible for managing time and being organized with daily tasks
- Work with team members, customers, suppliers and in a team environment
- Read, write, speak and understand work instructions, both verbal and written, perform basic math calculations and conduct self-inspection / audit

- Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizensh p is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Qualifications We Prefer
- Ability to read and interpret material and process specifications, technical drawings, 3D models, technical reports, manuals, and work instructions
- Experience working in a central quality or manufacturing organization
- Current experience with RRCAs (Relentless Root Cause Analysis)
