In this role, you will help ensure our aerospace products meet top quality standards while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll partner with various teams to identify and resolve quality issues, driving improvements and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. As a Senior Product Quality Engineer at Collins Aerospace, you will play a key role in upholding our reputation for excellent product performance and reliability. What You Will Do:
Ensures manufacturing processes and product builds are followed and comply with Quality and Engineering requirements Drives problem solving projects and actively challenges the status quo (e.g., root cause and corrective action investigations, (FPY, customer escapes) Provides analysis and recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes Leads and drives alignment with fellow quality and manufacturing engineers, sustaining engineers, engineering management, operations, and shop floor personnel Participates/implements continuous improvement for established processes for further improvement of quality, efficiency, and cost Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts Responsible for managing time and being organized with daily tasks Work with team members, customers, suppliers and in a team environment Read, write, speak and understand work instructions, both verbal and written, perform basic math calculations and conduct self-inspection / audit
What You Will Learn Advanced Quality Control Techniques:
Gain expertise in developing and implementing rigorous quality control plans and testing protocols to ensure aerospace products meet top industry standards

Regulatory Compliance:
Understand and navigate the complex landscape of industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all manufacturing processes and products adhere to these standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Develop strong collaboration and communication skills by working closely with various teams, including quality, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and shop floor personnel to align on quality and performance goals
Continuous Improvement Practices:
Learn to implement and advocate for continuous improvement methodologies, contributing to the enhancement of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of established processes Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract Qualifications We Prefer Ability to read and interpret material and process specifications, technical drawings, 3D models, technical reports, manuals, and work instructions. Experience working in a central quality or manufacturing organization Current experience with RRCA’s (Relentless Root Cause Analysis)

- 164,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
