Job Description
Amentum is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer with experience in planning, developing, and executing Requirements Development and Verification activities. This position will lead the Lunar Habitation Requirements and Verification process. The successful candidate will supply leadership and support for the development of key system engineering products for the Italian Space Agency (ASI) designed Multipurpose Habitat (MPH).This opportunity will provide Systems Engineering (SE), requirements management, verification, and validation (VandV) coordination, and system level integration support to the MSFC Habitation Systems Development Office. This office is responsible for the formulation and management of future in-space and surface habitats and habitation systems.
Job Requirements:
A degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or related technical discipline is required. A degree from an ABET accredited university is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Ph.D., with a minimum 9 years of experience, MS with at least 13 years of experience, or BS with at least 15 years of experience.
Must be able to support international travel.
