The information below covers the role requirements, expectedcandidate experience, and accompanying qualifications. As an Engineer Product I (Product Verification & Validation) youwill have: Decides upon appropriate tests to ensure durability and performanceof new designs, developing new tests when necessary. Executes test plan by conducting simple tests and assigningin-depth work to mechanics, lab engineers, field test sites, andstructural analysts. Leads the team through root cause investigations and data gatheringwhen prototypes fail tests. Applies mechanical and electrical engineering aptitude to assistdesign engineers, participate in design reviews, gather the rightdata, and design tests. Learns company products and develops customer understanding tobecome a “voice of the customer” and plan tests that accuratelyrepresent customer usage. Benchmarks performance and capabilities of company products againstcompetitor products. Remains highly organized while managing multiple tasks and datastreams. Interacts effectively with technical professionals across a varietyof job roles and backgrounds, including teammates across thecountry or across the world. Communicates technical and non-technical information clearly andconcisely with peers and leadership in written and verbalforms. Nice to have Hands on skills and aptitude with mechanical, hydraulic and/orelectrical systems Basic engineering design experience using CAD (Creo/ProEpreferred) Understanding of the importance of each phase of productdevelopment (scoping, design, analysis, testing, customer feedback,and manufacturing) Ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and makerecommendations Ability to communicate within a cross functional team acrossmultiple sites and drive results Ability to write clearly and concisely to document test proceduresand communicate results Willingness and ability to travel domestically to support fieldtests, loads collection, etc.

Education:

4-year engineering degree preferred (or equivalent workexperience).
