Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications; Prepare and review technical documents including both writing and the creation of visual exhibits and maps; Design Civil and/or water resources infrastructure related to stormwater management systems landfill design, and site layout; Act as assistant project manager and support proposal development, budgeting, scheduling, scope control, delegation; Conduct and manage fieldwork associated with design and construction services; Prepare task orders and proposals including scope of work, cost/fee estimates, schedule, presentations, etc.; Coordinate work efforts with multi-disciplinary project teams; and Play a supporting role in our sell-manage-do business model, business development, recruiting, staff development, and mentoring. Education and Licensure Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering. (required) Advanced degree in civil or environmental engineering. (preferred) Professional Engineer license (P.E.) (preferred) Skills, Experience and Qualifications At least 5 years (7+ preferred) of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) Strong technical writing, project management, and communication skills. (required) Experience with design software tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D. (required) Occasional fieldwork and overnight travel. (required) Experience in managing a project or task-level budget of at least $25k. (preferred) Experience with modeling and design software tools such as HydroCAD, ICPR, EPA-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS.
