CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer Project Manager to join our Infrastructure – Water Team at our Tampa, FL office.
YOUR IMPACT
Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects, handling every step from assessment to planning and design in these critical situations.
At CHA, the Water/Wastewater Engineer Project Manager works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule. This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise. These individuals are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure.
The Water/Wastewater Engineer Project Manager coordinates contracts with the clients and subcontractors, manages purchase orders, and oversees all other project related documents. The professional in this role is responsible for all project financials and subcontractor payments, clearly communicates updates to the client, management, and project team, and attends monthly project review meetings with operations.
The Water/Wastewater Engineer Project Manager develops project specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and is responsible for verifying that projects meet required QA/QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
PMP certification preferred
Minimum of 4 years of discipline specific engineering experience required
Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with the proven ability to practically apply engineering best practices
Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
Familiar with QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineering
Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
A self-starter who excels in a high-paced work environment and works well independently
Proficiency with MS Office software required
An active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred
SALARY RANGE
$95,000 – $111,500
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
