Performing and overseeing detailed hydrologic and hydraulic studies;
Developing innovative green infrastructure solutions for the urban environment;
Applying innovative hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, including 2D models;
Floodplain mapping and flood protection designs;
In-stream and urban stormwater water quality monitoring and modeling;
Field investigations and construction support services;
Developing construction documents, including engineering drawings and technical specifications;
Preparing erosion and sediment control designs;
Interacting with client representatives;
Directing multi-disciplinary project teams;
Task and project-level responsibility for scoping, performing, managing and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments;
Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring; and
Help broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences.
Education and Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering, natural resources or other science, with emphasis on water resources or closely related discipline. (required)
Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)
Professional registration (i.e., P.E., P.G.

CPESC, CPSWG

). (the ability to obtain in a reasonable timeframe) Skills, Experience and Qualifications
At least 5 years of research or related experience, or equivalentbination of education and experience. (required) Experience with modeling and design software tools such as EPA-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS. (preferred)
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
Excellent writing andmunication skills. (required)
Regular field work and overnight travel. (required)
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
